These terms apply when you use the StockTap app, the web preview at stocktap.app, and any StockLink you create or claim.

What StockTap is

StockTap is technology for moving supported digital assets between people. It is not a broker, it is not an adviser, and nothing in the product is investment advice. Availability of tokenized securities depends on your jurisdiction and on the providers we integrate.

Your account

You are responsible for the security of the device and credentials you use to sign in, and for the transfers you confirm. Usernames must not impersonate another person or brand.

Transfers

• Every transfer requires your explicit confirmation on a review screen.
• A confirmed transfer to a real recipient is final. Check the name and @username before you confirm.
• A StockLink is not final until it is claimed. Until then you can cancel it and the stock returns to you.

The web preview

The web experience is a limited companion to the iOS app. Tap to send and camera scanning are available in the app only. Interactive demos on the marketing site are labelled “Demo” and do not move anything.

Risk

The value of an asset can fall as well as rise. You can lose money. Only send what you are comfortable sending.

We will update this page when the product changes materially, and we will say what changed.
